The Finance Minister Michael Noonan has said he is on stand-by to travel to Brussels to sign off on negotiations on Greece.

Mr Noonan said the meeting was expected to be held on Thursday, but he has received word this morning that that deadline is unlikely to be met.

Greece's future in the eurozone still hangs in the balance as the country's leaders meet again this morning for a fresh round of talks on austerity measures.

Prime Minister Lucas Papademos delayed a key meeting on reforms yesterday angering European leaders and provoking caution in the markets.

Minister Noonan said Ireland will not interfere in the talks, but stands ready to help in anyway possible.
