Solicitor accused of assaulting colleague in court
A solicitor has appeared before Limerick District Court on foot of a summons for allegedly assaulting another solicitor.
John Devane, of Blackwater, Ardnacrusha, Co Clare, is accused of assaulting a colleague at Limerick District Court on separate dates in May and June this year.
Presiding Judge Eamon O'Brien said he was not dealing with the case because he knew all the parties involved.
Judge O'Brien adjourned the case until tomorrow for another judge to hear.
