Iranian lawyer to speak at Trinity on human rights
A lawyer who has fought to save Iranians condemned to execution will speak at Trinity College in Dublin this evening.
Mohammad Mostafaei was forced to flee Iran in 2010 for representing a woman who was facing death by stoning.
He will speak at the Davis Theatre at 7pm this evening, before visiting schools and public meetings in Galway, Donegal, Meath and Kerry.
Noeleen Hartigan from Amnesty International has said Iran's human rights record is "deplorable".
