Talk Talk announce 575 job losses in Waterford

Up to 575 jobs are to go at the Talk Talk call centre in Co Waterford.

Workers have been meeting with management at the facility this afternoon and it is understood that the centre is to close with all roles being moved to the UK.

The company is one of the largest employers in the south-east.

A 30-day consultation and transition period starts tomorrow, with operations winding down by the start of next month.

The call centre manages support for customers based in the UK.
