Gardaí renew appeal to trace missing woman

Gardaí have today renewed their appeal for help in tracing Blathnaid Timothy, who went missing in Dublin ten days ago.

Gardaí have today renewed their appeal for help in tracing Blathnaid Timothy, who went missing in Dublin ten days ago.

The 33-year-old, who is originally from Galway, was last seen on Tuesday December 14 at 8pm in Dublin city centre.

CCTV footage has shown that she used her ATM card at the National Irish Bank on Sir John Rogerson's before getting into a taxi, which crossed the Liffey to the Northside.

She was wearing a three quarter length black wool coat, dark jeans and possibly a red and black scarf.

Gardaí are certain the taxi was a dark Mercedes.

Detective Inspector Michael Cryan of Pearse Street Garda Station is leading the investigation:
