Kildare rape trial nears conclusion

The trial of a young Kildare man accused of raping his teenage partner in their apartment last year has reached its closing stages at the Central Criminal Court.

The man (aged 20) has pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape and one count of oral rape of the woman on a date between February 24 and 25, 2009.
