Crash blocks road in Co Kildare

Gardaí are at the scene of a crash on the M9 in County Kildare.

It is blocking one lane on the northbound side of the Dublin to Kilkenny road, just north of the Castledermot junction.

The advice is to approach the scene with care, and any delays could affect motorists heading to the National Ploughing Championships in Athy.
