Gardaí are investigating after an armed three-man gang robbed a Co Cavan hotel of several thousand euro last night.

Gardaí are investigating after an armed three-man gang robbed a Co Cavan hotel of several thousand euro last night.

The raiders struck at the Bailie Hotel in Bailieboro shortly after 2am, when they tied up a night porter and then carried a safe from the premises to a waiting van.
