Gardaí seize herbal cannabis in Dublin raid

Herbal cannabis worth €1.2m was seized during a raid by drugs squad officers, it was disclosed today.

Gardaí swooped on a yard in Ballyboughal, north Co Dublin at around 7.45pm yesterday and discovered the haul.

Three men were arrested, aged 44, 28 and 24, by officers from the National Drugs Unit backed up by the Organised Crime squad.

Two were taken to Ballymun Garda Station for questioning while a third was taken to Finglas.

All are being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act.
