Protestors demonstrate in Dublin against US death penalty
A demonstration is getting underway outside the US Embassy in Dublin calling for the death penalty to be dropped.
It coincides with the start of a new trial for death-row inmate Troy Davis.
He has spent almost 19 years on death row, despite protesting his innocence.
Noeleen Hartigan of Amnesty International Ireland says a moratorium should be brought in on the death penalty.
