Dissident republicans opposed to the peace process were being blamed today for a car bomb attack on the MI5 headquarters in the North.

One man was injured in the 12.24am attack at Palace Barracks in Holywood, Co Down, in a bombing timed to coincide with the devolution of policing and justice powers from Westminster to the Stormont Assembly.
