A Tipperary woman has denied today she invented a story about a stranger performing oral sex on her in the manner of her boyfriend to “bolster” her credibility that she had been raped while half asleep.

A Tipperary woman has denied today she invented a story about a stranger performing oral sex on her in the manner of her boyfriend to “bolster” her credibility that she had been raped while half asleep.

Mr Michael Delaney SC, defending, put it to the 34-year-old complainant under cross-examination that it was “an incredible coincidence” that a stranger was able to perform a feature of the couple’s normal foreplay without her knowing the difference.
