The HSE is warning about an outbreak of measles in the south of the country after 26 children were struck down by the illness in counties Cork and Kerry in just the first few weeks of the year.

The HSE is warning about an outbreak of measles in the south of the country after 26 children were struck down by the illness in counties Cork and Kerry in just the first few weeks of the year.

That compares with just five cases for all of 2008.
