Baby found dead, mother hospitalised in Mayo

A post mortem examination will be carried out later on the body of a newborn baby boy in Co Mayo.

The remains were found at a house in Westport at around 5am today after a woman attended Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar seeking medical treatment.
