The DAA has reached a €38m cost-cutting deal with unions at the Labour Relations Commission that will see 450 jobs cut.

The DAA has reached a €38m cost-cutting deal with unions at the Labour Relations Commission that will see 450 jobs cut.

Some 300 jobs will go on a voluntary basis - while a further 150 short-term contracts are not being renewed.

The remaining staff at Dublin, Shannon and Cork airports will have their pay reduced by an average of 5.5% - but workers earning less than €30,000 will be exempt.
