Man killed in Balbriggan car accident

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a road crash in Balbriggan, Co Dublin that claimed the life of a man.

The motorcyclist died after his vehicle and a car were in collision at Balrothery at around 8am.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

The driver of the car was uninjured.
