Aer Lingus agrees to talk to unions
Aer Lingus has agreed to enter arbitration talks with Unions - amid warnings that more than 1,000 jobs may go at the airline.
The carrier accepted an invitation from employers' group IBEC and the Irish Congress of Trade Unions to try to reach a deal with pilots' union IALPA.
Aer Lingus says it looks forward to a vigorous and productive engagement - and will endeavour to reach an early agreement.
