The name of a Polish man found dead in a flat in north Belfast was today released by police.

The name of a Polish man found dead in a flat in north Belfast was today released by police.

Piotr Rafacz, 29, was found in the property on Cliftonville Road on Saturday.

On Tuesday, police were granted a further 36 hours to question a 28-year-old woman and 26-year-old man in connection with the killing.

They have appealed for members of the local Polish community who saw or heard anything suspicious to contact them.

The victim was the third man from the Polish community to have been murdered in the North in just more than a month.
