Independent candidate Maureen O'Sullivan has officially been elected in Dublin Central by-election tonight.

The result came after Labour’s Ivana Bacik was eliminated and her 6,537 votes were distributed between the two remaining candidates, O'Sullivan and FG's Paschal Donohoe.
