Five held over Kerr murder

Police in the North are questioning five people in connection with the murder of a Co. Antrim businessman who was gunned down on his doorstep last week.

Geoff Kerr, 60, a financial advisor and member of the UUP, was shot dead by two men posing as Chinese takeaway delivery men on Monday night.

His wife and eldest son witnessed the attack.

Detectives investigating the brutal killing arrested a woman in the Newtownabbey area last night.
