Man held in connection with Galway arson attacks

Gardaí in Galway have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with a series of arson attacks on homes and vehicles in the city in the early hours of this morning.

Three unoccupied houses and a caravan were damaged after being set alight in the Briarshill area just after 1.30am.
