A two-year-old boy who was injured in a road crash in Co Louth almost five weeks ago has died in hospital.

A two-year-old boy who was injured in a road accident in Co Louth almost five weeks ago has died in hospital.

Jayden Casey Murden was critically injured when the jeep he was travelling in crashed in Dundalk on January 31.

He passed away at Temple Street Children’s Hospital in Dublin.

Jayden’s four-year-old sister Jenna also died on Tuesday of last week from injuries she sustained in the crash.
