Device made safe in Galway

An explosive device was made safe last night at a Garda Station in Galway.

It was found on a man who had been arrested and brought to Millstreet Garda Station.

The army bomb disposal team was called to the scene at around 8.30pm. The device was made safe and the all-clear was given just after 9pm.
