Gardaí question four men following Fermanagh robbery

Gardaí in Donegal are continuing to question four men in connection with a bank robbery in Co Fermanagh on Friday.

Two men aged 25 and 34 are being held in Ballyshannon Garda Station while two other men, aged 22 and 23, are being detained at Letterkenny Garda station.

UK£7,000 (€7,813) was stolen from the Northern Bank in Kesh by a gang armed with knives and a hammer.

The thieves escaped in a blue-coloured Mazda after ramming a police squad car.

Four men were arrested in Donegal town yesterday morning in relation to the incident.

Gardaí in Donegal are asking anyone who comes across discarded English registration plates between Pettigo and Donegal town or between Belleek and Ballyshannon to contact them.
