Seven still held in connection with Dublin shooting

Seven people remain in Garda custody in connection with the murder of John Carroll in Dublin's south inner city earlier this week.

The father-of-three was shot a number of times in Grumpy Jack's pub in the Coombe on Wednesday night.

Gardaí investigating his death have arrested two women and five men, who are being held at various Garda stations around Dublin.
