A 29-year-old man has been convicted of the murder of John Carroll who was shot dead in Grumpy Jack's Pub in The Coombe in Dublin, two years ago.

Gardaí investigating the murder of a man in Dublin last month arrested a 61-year-old man today.

Seven people remain in Garda custody in connection with the murder of John Carroll in Dublin's south inner city earlier this week.
