Man held after pipe-bomb find in Clare

Gardaí in Co Clare are continuing to question a 27-year-old man in connection with the seizure of parts of a pipe bomb, ammunition and drugs in Shannon yesterday.

Officers from the Regional Support Unit and local gardaí searched two houses as part of an ongoing investigation into criminal activity in the Limerick and Shannon areas.
