Gardaí await results of autopsy on Corkman’s body

Gardaí in Cork are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a 62-year-old man in the city over the weekend.

Donal Manley was found dead at his home on High Street on Sunday night after concerns were raised by neighbours.

Mr Manley, who lived alone and was single, had not been seen since Friday last.

Gardaí are treating the death as suspicious and are awaiting the results of a full post mortem examination on his remains.
