Libertas chairman Declan Ganley has tonight welcomed the results of the latest Red C poll for the Sunday Business Post, which shows the gap between the Yes and No sides of the Lisbon campaign narrowing to 8%.

Ganley said that the poll's findings showed that an intensive and expensive spending spree by supporters of the treaty had served only to narrow the gap between the two sides.
