A young man from Rochestown, Cork, who is accused of having more than €500,000 worth of cannabis for sale or supply in Cork last Friday, was released on substantial bail today.

Russell McAdoo (aged 22), from Provence, Rochestown Road, Cork, appeared before Cork District Court facing a total of six offences relating to the seizure by members of Cork City Divisional Drugs Squad of 55 kilos of cannabis grass on May 2, the total street value of the drugs being €550,000
