President Mary McAleese met European Central Bank president Jean Claude Trichet in Frankfurt today as she concluded her three-day state visit to Germany.

Mrs McAleese earlier explored Irish links with St Killian’s Cathedral, Julius-Maximilians University and Neumuenster Church in Wurzburg.
