Gardaí rule out foul play in Dublin death

Gardaí in Dublin are not treating the death of a man in the city last night as suspicious.

Following a post mortem conducted by the State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy earlier today , Gardaí say that a 54 year old found dead last night did not die as a result of foul play.

They say they are not seeking anyone in connection with the death.

The 54-year-old was found dead on the footpath on Upper Mayor Street just after 7pm.

Gardaí from Store Street are investigating the incident.
