Baby treated following Dublin fire

A six-month-old baby is being treated for smoke inhalation following a fire at a Dublin apartment block.

A six-month-old baby is being treated for smoke inhalation following a fire at a Dublin apartment block.

The blaze broke out in a second storey apartment in Applewood in Swords early this morning.

The baby boy is being treated at Temple Street Children's hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.

The fire has been brought under control and a Garda spokesperson has said it is being treated as an accident.
