The North's Police Ombudsman has cleared officers of wrongly shooting a man dead four years ago in Co. Antrim, saying they feared for a colleague's life.

However, the Ombudsman has strongly criticised the operation's planning and voiced grave concern over missing information and the attitude of some officers to her inquiry.
