Investigation launched into death of Polish man

Gardaí have launched an investigation after the body of a 44-year-old Polish man was discovered in Co Galway today.

Gardaí have launched an investigation after the body of a 44-year-old Polish man was discovered in Co Galway today.

The body was found at about 7.15am in a van at Station Road, Loughrea.

The man's remains were removed to University College Hospital Galway (UCHG) where a post mortem exam will be conducted this afternoon by state pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy.

The death is not thought to be suspicious.
