Quinn-Direct set to sue Sunday Tribune

Quinn-Direct has today announced that it has instructed its solicitors, Mason Hayes & Curran, to initiate legal proceedings on its behalf against the Sunday Tribune newspaper for libel.

Quinn-Direct has today announced that it has instructed its solicitors, Mason Hayes & Curran, to initiate legal proceedings on its behalf against the Sunday Tribune newspaper for libel.

The company has stated that the memo on which the newspaper based its allegations in yesterday’s edition is "bogus".

"This purported memo was the basis for extraordinary allegations as regards unlawful and unethical behaviour by Quinn-Direct, which are untrue. Accordingly, we will be actively seeking redress from the Sunday Tribune for the damage caused," the company said in a statement.
