Man and woman rescued from burning flat in south Belfast
A man and woman have been rescued from a burning flat on the Lisburn Road in south Belfast.
The couple were found unconscious in the fifth-floor flat at Russell Court after being overcome by smoke at around 11pm.
The Fire Service says the blaze was caused by an unattended frying pan and one of the occupants had suffered burns while trying to extinguish it.
Around 30 other residents were also evacuated from neighbouring flats during the overnight fire.
