The jury at the inquest into the death of a baby found in a plastic bag in a laneway in Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin in 1973 has retired to consider it verdict.

Coroner Kieran Geraghty asked the jury to try to return a unanimous decision on the balance of probability.

Over the past three and a half days evidence has been given by Ms Owen, her family, and friends, and members of the Gardaí.
