The trial at the Central Criminal Court of a north county Dublin businessman charged with raping a foreign national tourist in a Kerry hotel almost two years ago has been adjourned until next Tuesday.

The trial at the Central Criminal Court of a north county Dublin businessman charged with raping a foreign national tourist in a Kerry hotel almost two years ago has been adjourned until next Tuesday.

The hearing of evidence by a jury which was sworn in last Monday had been scheduled to begin today but following legal discussions, Mr Justice Paul Carney adjourned the matter.
