Nurses at the facility in Tralee have claimed that they are regularly faced with up to 15 patients on trolleys.

This often leads to the Medical Assessment Unit being used as an overflow for A&E.

Nurses want management to work with the INO to ensure that adequate admission and discharge policies are put in place.
