Govt to repeal hundreds of pieces of outdated legislation

The Government is to scrap hundreds of pieces of outdated legislation in the coming months.

The move was announced last night by the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, who said legislation to repeal the old laws would be finalised before the General Election.
