Teenage driver dies in Co Wicklow road accident

A teenager has died and three others have been injured in a road crash near Ashford in Co Wicklow this morning.

The 17-year-old died when the car he was driving collided with another vehicle in Ballinalee at around 9am.

His passenger and two people travelling in the second car were taken to hospital in Tallaght, but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
