Police in the North are investigating suspected arson attacks on two storage buildings in Belfast overnight.

Police in the North are investigating suspected arson attacks on two storage buildings in Belfast overnight.

Both fires broke out simultaneously at around 7.30pm and have caused major damage to both structures, one of which may have been demolished.

The Fire Service says the buildings are believed to belong to the Department of Agriculture and were being used as stores for a commercial firm.

The motive for last night’s attacks is unclear.
