The Department of Foreign Affairs is assisting the family of an Irish woman who has gone missing in Medugorje.
It is believed the woman was visiting the area on a pilgrimage, but has not been seen since last Wednesday. Searches have been ongoing all weekend.
The Government is in contact with its embassy in Ljubljana in Slovenia, which is in turn in contact with Bosnian authorities.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has said that emergency passports are being prepared for the family of the woman, who are to travel to the region.
