A man in his 80s died after being struck by a car as he walked along a road in Co Monaghan, gardaí said today.

A man in his 80s died after being struck by a car as he walked along a road in Co Monaghan, gardaí said today.

The accident happened at around 9.30pm yesterday at Mullabryan, near Emyvale.
