Hain planning major restructuring of North’s govt depts

Northern Secretary Peter Hain has announced plans for a major reform of devolved government departments in the North.

In a speech today reviewing the work of his direct-rule ministers at Stormont, Mr Hain questioned whether 11 departments were needed.
