SIPTU and Aer Lingus meet to avert planned strike action

SIPTU and Aer Lingus management are due to hold talks at Dublin Airport this morning in an effort to avert planned strike action at the national airline tomorrow.

The union's members at Aer Lingus are planning to hold an hour-long work stoppage tomorrow morning as part of their opposition to the planned privatisation of the airline.
