'Greater effort needed to reduce unnecessary waste'

The Government's Race Against Waste campaign is calling for greater effort from businesses and households to reduce the amount of waste they produce.

The campaign says that, while recycling rates are increasing rapidly in Ireland, so too is the level of waste.
