Independent TDs attack Govt over health service crisis
Eight independent TDs have joined forces to attack the Government over the state of Ireland's health service.
Speaking at a press conference in Dublin today, the TDs said the service was currently in crisis and needed an urgent injection of more money and more beds.
Mayo TD Jerry Cowley claimed the situation was so bad that a man in his 70s had died recently while awaiting admission to University College Hospital in Galway.
