A printing company worker has been given a 10 years sentence by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for his role in a €3m cocaine operation.

A printing company worker has been given a 10 years sentence by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for his role in a €3m cocaine operation.

Aiden Deering (aged 31) of Penrose Street, Ringsend pleaded guilty to having the cocaine for sale or supply at Dublin Self Storage on the Naas Road and at the Naas Road Business Park on December 12, 2004.

Two boxes and a bag of cocaine containing almost €1.7m worth of the drug was found in a container under Deering’s name at Dublin Self Storage and two holdall bags containing almost €1.4m was found in the boot of his car.

Judge Desmond Hogan suspended the last two years of the sentence having taken into account Deering’s "limited co-operation with gardaí" and that he no previous convictions.
